HOG: Who we are and What We Do

In 1993 God stirred up our hearts to catch the unreached kids young for Christ and raised them up to become God-fearing future leaders, church planters, evangelist, medical missionaries, teachers, etc. while we were yet praying God began to open our eyes to the plights of the orphans and vulnerable kids from various unreached people groups that need to be helped physically and spiritually.

That gave birth to what we called the unreached children Home (UCH). The UCH was in early 2012 renamed Home of Grace (HOG). What we thought was long term vision soon began to yield short term dividend as we see so many lives transformed literarily from being the village idol worshiping and Muslim boys and girls to becoming sound Christian believers and instruments of reaching the unreached people.

Monica Omale (nee Ogwuche) served as pioneer missionary who handled the home. Her passion and the interest in the kids were unparalleled. With her little upkeep allowance then, she kept and fed several unreached kids. One of the kids, Ayuba Ajikovi is a graduate of Economics from University of Jos, Nigeria today. God has raised him to be a formidable instrument in His hand. He served as President of the fellowship of Christian students in the school where he attends for several years.

This little beginning metamorphosed into a rescue ministry when Monica’s predecessor, Stella Ella found herself in a scene where a baby was to be buried alive with her mother six months after delivery. She rescued the baby from death.

Today, God has blessed us with several of these children and they are doing beautifully well because partners like you cared. We need more of such care as we trust God for funds to help meet the increasing needs of school fees, school materials like textbooks and uniform and foodstuff, etc.

You can make a whole lot of difference for one of these kids via our HOG Distance kids Adoption Program
